The hashtag #LiesofLeavingNeverland was trending across social media Saturday and into Sunday upon the release of a roughly 30-minute video “Lies of Leaving Neverland,” a rebuttal to HBO’s “Leaving Neverland,” which was released by HBO earlier this year.
This explosive new video, linked below, and also available on YouTube, points out many false claims, story changes, inconsistencies and out-right lies in HBO’s Leaving Neverland. To be brutally honest, it throws a giant hand grenade right smack into the middle of HBO’s Leaving Neverland narrative and looks bad for director Dan Reed and HBO. It’s hard not to conclude there is some kind of hidden ulterior motive behind the HBO doc. The newly released video also paints a clear financial motive for alleged Jackson victim, Wade Robson.
The fact that the highly criticized Leaving Neverland has five nominations going into next month’s Emmy Awardsis true Hollywood form, and only adds to the overall level of suspicion about the project. Also noteworthy, the Michael Jackson Estate is suing HBO for $100 million dollars over Leaving Neverland. HBO wants the suit dismissed citing the 1st Amendment.
Watch the new video yourself, decide what you think. Personally, I’ve never been able to discern what truly happened with Michael Jackson, and neither Leaving Neverland, nor Lies of Leaving Neverland (who I suspect the MJ estate is behind) helps in any way. Was he a pedophile or wasn’t he, I don’t know. My focus remains on the fact that HBO aired Leaving Neverland at this moment in history, seeming to rush it out just months after the Weinstein accusations dropped, at the very moment a documentary about him was dropping at Sundance, and when so many credibly accused high level abusers are being exposed. My issues are with the suspicious timing and with trying to discern who is really behind Leaving Neverland – a subject that deserves the real attention. I think focusing on those two things has the best change of bringing us to the truth.
The fact is, Michael Jackson is dead. He was acquitted of all charges in 1993. That said, I do know there is a system in place that would have rewarded Jackson for this behavior. For being a pedophile and thus a highly compromised and easily controlled individual. The reality is; however, the man is dead, he cannot defend himself, nor can he be punished. Thus, all this feels like NOISE to me. I try to keep my eye on the Weinstein’s, and the Epstein’s and the Hollywood Entertainment system of abuse and blackmail currently in place, which we are together toppling.
However, one thing is clear from “Lies of Leaving Neverland,” Leaving Neverland leaves out critical information that seriously calls Wade Robson’s story into question. The below video is an interesting watch if you have the time, it’s only about 30 minutes.
Decide for yourself, let me know what you think.
